You want to know about Me?

Hi there!  Welcome to my Blog!

I do appreciate you stopping by, and I am glad you wanted to learn a little more about who I am!

First off, my name is obviously Daria.  (Yes, like the girl on Beavis & Butthead.)  I was born in Massachusetts, went to the University of Miami, and stayed in Florida afterwards.  I have lived in a few different Floridian cities, with Daytona being the most recent, but I do love Miami.  How can you not???

I live in the Daytona area with my Husband, our two dogs (Bassets named Frank & Beans), and one of his best friends.  It’s not a bad housing situation, but the roommate thing..  it’s getting old.

We got married recently in - get this -  Las Vegas!  Neither one of us had been there, and it was complete sensory overload!  Nevermind the money it’s designed to suck out of your wallet!  Oh, and we chose that venue *before* we saw The Hangover – which is, BY FAR, the funniest movie I have seen in years!

I am a self-admitted gamer girl!  I am a part of the XBox360 GamerChix, which has been a lot of fun over the years!  I have also played my share of World of Warcraft, Dungeons & Dragons (Both home and Living/RPGA campaigns!), and some random MMORPGs.  Unfortunately, I don’t get a lot of the D&D games over here on the East coast.  I would have to go to Orlando to get any gaming in, and I don’t usually have the time to make the drive out there…  ::Insert Sad Face here::

I also love to read, and listen to music.  Eventually, I would like to have a page where I can let you all know what I’m reading, what I have read, and what I think about it.  Just in case you want to know!  *EDIT – I do have that page created, but I am still playing with it – trying to figure out how to add links to the books (through Amazon, more than likely), and create sub-pages where you can see reviews of the books I have already read.  It’s definitely a work in progress…

I am still tweaking my blog, and learning about WordPress and the life of the blogosphere!  I know that I will conquer it sooner or later, but I hope that you bear with me during my learning experiences.  I appreciate any and all constructive criticisms.  I know that I can learn a LOT from bloggers who have ‘been there’ and ‘done that’ and I hope that you guys are willing to share your hints and experience!
